1. Introduction and Agreement

Welcome to Ping Pong Hub (“we”, “us”, “our”, or “Ping Pong Hub”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website (https://www.pingponghub.co.za), including all purchases of table tennis equipment, apparel, coaching services, and related offerings.

By accessing, browsing, creating an account, or purchasing from Ping Pong Hub, you agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy and Shipping & Returns Policy, in compliance with the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA) and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) of South Africa.

3. Products, Pricing & Availability

  1. Product Descriptions: We make every effort to display the colors, specifications, prices, and imagery of table tennis blades, rubbers, balls, accessories, and apparel as accurately as possible. However, actual product appearance may vary depending on display settings.

  2. Pricing: All prices quoted on our platform are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR – R). Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

  3. Availability: Products are subject to stock availability. Items marked as PRE ORDER are procured directly upon order confirmation and may be subject to supplier arrival timelines. In the event an item is out of stock or delayed, our team will promptly contact you via email or WhatsApp (+27 72 845 9973) to offer an alternative, store credit, or a full refund.

4. Orders and Payment

  1. Order Acceptance: Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase products or services. Order confirmation emails do not signify final acceptance; we reserve the right to cancel or adjust orders due to pricing errors, suspected fraud, or inventory discrepancies.

  2. Payment Methods: Payments are processed securely in South African Rand via integrated gateways (e.g., PayFast, Card Payments, Instant EFT). By providing payment details, you represent that you are authorized to use the chosen payment instrument.

  3. Pre-Order Deposits: Full payment or designated deposit amounts are required at checkout for pre-order merchandise. Pre-order delivery timelines are estimates and subject to international freight updates.

5. Shipping & Delivery Policy

  1. Shipping Rates within South Africa:

    • Orders over R2,500.00: FREE Standard Courier Delivery.

    • Orders R2,500.00 or below: Standard flat rate delivery fee of R185.00.

  2. Processing & Timelines: Standard order processing takes 1 to 2 business days. Courier delivery across major South African metro areas (Gauteng, Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth, etc.) typically takes 3 to 5 business days from dispatch.

  3. Tracking: Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation message containing courier tracking numbers.

  4. Risk & Ownership: Risk in products transfers to you upon courier delivery to the address provided during checkout.

6. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds

In accordance with Section 44 of the South African Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA) and Section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA):

  1. 14-Day Return Window: You have 14 calendar days from the date of receipt to return an unused item for a refund or store credit.

  2. Eligibility Requirements: Returned items must be completely unused, sealed in their original manufacturer packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

  3. Non-Returnable Items: Opened table tennis rubbers, glued custom bat assemblies, customized gear, gift cards, and clearance items cannot be returned unless confirmed defective upon arrival.

  4. Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for return courier costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect due to our error.

  5. Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be processed via original payment channel or bank transfer within 7 business days following physical inspection at our Pretoria facility.

7. Table Tennis Coaching & Venue Terms

  1. Coaching Services: Coaching programs and individual sessions booked through Ping Pong Hub take place at our primary venue: CSIR Table Tennis Club, Brummeria, Pretoria.

  2. Cancellations & Rescheduling: Coaching bookings must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours prior to the session start time by contacting info@pingponghub.co.za or calling 072 845 9973. Late cancellations or no-shows are non-refundable.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All software, visual design elements, photographs, logos, product descriptions, graphic art, and text content published on https://www.pingponghub.co.za belong exclusively to Ping Pong Hub or its official brand licensing partners (including JOOLA, GEWO, STIGA, DHS, Andro, and Donic). Unauthorized copying, distribution, or reproduction is strictly prohibited.

9. Privacy and Protection of Personal Information (POPIA)

We are committed to safeguarding your personal data in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

  1. We collect personal details (name, email, delivery address, phone number) strictly to process orders, deliver equipment, provide coaching services, and respond to queries.

  2. Your details will never be sold or leased to third-party advertisers.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Ping Pong Hub shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

  • Misuse of table tennis equipment or adhesives;

  • Shipping delays caused by third-party logistics partners, weather conditions, or customs clearances;

  • Unauthorised access to or alteration of customer transmissions or data.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any legal disputes arising from or relating to the use of this website or purchases made shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

12. Changes to Terms

Ping Pong Hub reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted directly to this page with an updated “Effective Date”. Continued use of the platform after changes indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
